Shoplifting suspect assaults store clerk

On May 24, 2019, a female suspect was observed selecting items from the shelves at the Dollarama located at 60 Dunlop Street East in the City of Barrie. After leaving the store without making any attempt to pay for the items, the female suspect was approached by a store staff member.

The suspect then assaulted the store clerk, who was not seriously injured, before leaving the scene.

Barrie Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the female suspect pictured.

The picture provided is not of great quality but it is the only image available of the suspect at this time.

The suspect is described as:

  • White, female,
  • 30 – 39 years old
  • Wearing denim vest, grey hoodie, black baseball hat and blue pants
