Break and Enter Suspects Caught on Camera

The Barrie Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance after a break and enter was recently reported in the City of Barrie.

On Friday, June 28, 2019, between 4:23 a.m. and 4:28 a.m., the Cabela’s store located on Concert Way was entered after two suspects smashed a lower pane of glass in the front door. The entire event was captured on closed circuit security cameras and police are attempting to identify the persons responsible.

From the video obtained, the suspects, who were both armed with hammers are described as:

Suspect 1: Male, grey sweater (hood up), dark pants, dark shoes, dark gloves, grey/black backpack, face partially concealed with a bandana or similar type garment.

Suspect 2: Male, black sweater (hood up), dark pants, dark shoes, white gloves, grey/black backpack, face partially concealed with a bandana or similar type garment.
