Search Warrant Yields Stolen Property
June 7th, 2019 - Police & the Community

The Barrie Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying some suspected stolen property after a search warrant was executed late last week in the City of Barrie.

The Barrie Police Street Crime Unit assisted another police service with the execution of a Criminal Code Search Warrant last Thursday as a result of a break and enter that had taken place several weeks prior in that Service’s jurisdiction. As the search of a Barrie address was undertaken, five golf bags and two shop type vacuums were located.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, the Barrie Police believe that these items were stolen and are now trying to locate the rightful owners.

Anyone with information on this suspected stolen property is asked to contact Detective Constable Hankin of the Barrie Police Street Crime Unit at 705-725-7025, ext. 2642 .You can also contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or leave an anonymous tip online at www.p3tips.com.
