Thief Who Wore Red Shoes Has Expensive Taste

The Barrie Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance after a theft was reported in the City of Barrie.

On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at 4:59 p.m., a male attended the LCBO located at 461 Big Bay Point Road and began to select a quantity of alcohol from various locations within the store. The bottles were placed into a black duffle bag that he was carrying and 4 minutes later, he walked out of the store without paying for the items he had selected.  

Video surveillance obtained from the store clearly shows him selecting four 750ml bottles that included Courvoisier VSOP Cognac, Hennessey VS Cognac , Jim Beam Apple Whiskey (2 bottles) and a 1.14L bottle of Bacardi Amber Rum . The total value of the liquor stolen was just over $250.00.

The suspect is described as male white, black jacket, dark pants  with very distinct red shoes and wore a white and black hat with a logo.
