Update – Police asking for assistance in identifying male suspect - Male arrested and charged

Thursday March 7, 2019:

UPDATE - As a result of the ongoing investigation conducted by the Crimes Against Persons (CAP) Unit, Investigative Services and Uniform Patrol and through the posting of an image captured on a closed circuit security device, the Barrie Police Service has arrested and charged a 33-year old Barrie man with Criminal Harassment. The male is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Barrie at a later date.

Barrie Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect in relation to a Criminal Harassment investigation in the Duckworth Street and Bell Farm Road area.

The suspect is described as: male white, mid to late 30’s, grayish coloured hair with possible graying facial hair, hair parted on right side of head, slight forward slouch, approximately 160-180lbs.
