2019 Barrie Polar Plunge – In support of Special Olympics Ontario
January 22nd, 2019 - Police & the Community

On Saturday, March 2, 2019, members of the Barrie Police Service will be taking the icy plunge at the 2019 Annual Polar Plunge.

This event will raise money for Special Olympics Ontario and 100% of the funds will directly benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Ontario.

Participants (Plungers) can either pay the registration fee or fundraise the minimum requirement to be able to take part in the plunge. In most cases, incentives will be given to Plungers based on how much money they raise in donations.

Need extra inspiration to take the plunge? The team that raises the most money will win a pizza party sponsored by Boston Pizza! There will also be medals awarded for best costumes, so start planning your plunging outfits!

This event is proudly supported by 107.5 KoolFM and Rock 95
