Police Investigate Theft of Golf Equipment

The Barrie Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance after a theft was reported in the City of Barrie.

On Saturday, December 8, 2018, police attended the Golf Town store located at Park Place after a male on three occasions that afternoon attended the store and stole 24 golf rangefinders which are valued at almost $12 000. It was later determined that the thefts occurred between 2:09 p.m. and 2:26 p.m. and were captured on closed circuit security cameras.

The suspect is described as male, white, approximately 55-60 years, slim build, around 5'11 - 6'0, blue jeans, black jacket and black winter hat. He was believed to be driving a silver coloured sport utility type vehicle.
