Police Seeking Identity of Suspects in Shoppers Drug Mart Theft

The Barrie Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects following a theft in the City of Barrie.

On Friday, October 5, 2018, a theft occurred at Shoppers Drug Mart, located at 420 Essa Road. Two males were observed by video surveillance taking razor blades off the shelf and concealing them in jackets they were carrying.

The investigation is ongoing.

The suspects are described as;

Suspect #1

  • Male, black (25-35 yrs)
  • Medium build
  • Wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and a camouflage hat

Suspect #2

  • Male, black (25-35 yrs)
  • Medium build
  • Black beard
  • Wearing grey sweater with a black vest, and a white baseball cap
