Police Seeking Identity of Shoppers Drug Mart Thief

The Barrie Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect following a theft in the City of Barrie.

On Saturday, October 13, 2018, at approximately 8:00 a.m., an unknown female attended the Shoppers Drug Mart, located at 420 Essa Road, and concealed various healthcare products in a small white garbage can and left the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect is described as;

  • Female (20 to 30 yrs.)
  • Medium build
  • Long black hair in a ponytail
  • Wearing grey pants, light coloured running shoes, black patterned sweatshirt and carrying a small white oval garbage can with a lid
