Police searching for thief who used stolen credit cards

Barrie Police are looking to identify a male suspect after personal items were stolen from a vehicle at a Cundles St. E. business and various financial cards were used.

On the morning of Friday, October 26, 2018, the victim returned to their vehicle to discover a window had been broken and various personal items had been stolen. Once the victim discovered the missing items included financial cards, they contacted their financial institutions to cancel the cards. Unfortunately, several cards had already been used at various stores throughout the City of Barrie that morning.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, white, with brown hair
  • 45 to 55-years-old
  • Wearing black hoodie with “Deadpool” logo, black track pants with Blue Jays logo, black and grey hat, and black and white running shoes
  • Driving an older black GMC Yukon with roof racks

Investigating officers are asking anyone who may have information to please contact Constable M.
