The Barrie Police are seeking public assistance after a Barrie Police cruiser was damaged while parked downtown Barrie.

On Saturday, September 15, 2018, a cruiser had been damaged while parked on Dunlop Street, east of Owen Street, in the City of Barrie.

Witnesses reported seeing a male just after 1:30 a.m. jumping up onto the trunk of the unoccupied cruiser. It had been reported the male began jumping on the back window, which quickly led to him smashing out the rear window, and falling through. The incident had been captured on video by a second male, who had been standing by recording it on his cell phone. The two men fled the area prior to police arriving.
