Shoplifter Slips Away with Razors and Allergy Medication

Barrie Police is looking for assistance from the public to identify a shoplifter who fled on foot into a bush area while an employee and witness were on his tail.

On Wednesday, August 15th, 2018 at approximately 2:30 pm the suspect attended the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 567 Cundles Road East, in the City of Barrie. He was seen putting packages of razors and allergy medication down his shirt before leaving the store without paying.  He was confronted by staff outside the store when he fled on foot towards Cundles Road East and Lions Gate Boulevard, dropping some of the merchandise as he ran.

Description:

  • Male with olive skin
  • Approximately 6’2” & medium build
  • Short black hair  
  • Wearing a green jacket over a white v-neck t-shirt, blue jeans and white running shoes
