ARREST - Police Seeking the Identity of a Woman Wanted for Assault

Police have arrested and charged a 32-year-old woman from Orangeville, Ontario, following an assault. The incident took place on Friday, August 24, 2018, at St. Louis Bar and Grill, in the City of Barrie. 

The woman was arrested after a keen-eyed witness recognized her early Thursday afternoon, while walking through the North Barrie Crossing Shopping Centre, located off Cundles Road, in the City of Barrie. The witness contacted police immediately and the woman was quickly located and arrested.  

The 32-year-old woman has been charged with; Assault and Breach of Probation. She will appear in a Barrie Court of Justice on Friday morning.

The Barrie Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect following an assault which occurred at St. Louis Bar and Grill, located at 353 Duckworth Street, in the City of Barrie.

On Friday, August 24, 2018, a woman had been escorted out of St. Louis Bar and Grill after causing a disturbance amongst customers and employees. When escorted out of the restaurant the woman continued to be belligerent, then turned to the employee and spit on them as she walked out.

The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect is described as;

  • Female, white (35 to 40yrs.)
  • Medium build, 5’1" to 5’6”
  • Black hair – long
  • Tattoos – Arm sleeve tattoo on right arm and tattoo on front right leg.
  • Wearing a red tank top, dark shorts and carrying a Tommy Hilfiger bag.
