 Woman Sought for Theft of Gas

The Barrie Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a woman following a theft of gas that occurred on Thursday, June 7 and Tuesday, June 26, 2018.

The theft had been captured on video surveillance from Esso Gas Station, located at 369 Bayfield Street, in the City of Barrie. The suspect made no attempt to pay for the gas on either day and fled the area. The vehicle was not equipped with a front licence plate and the rear plate had been obstructed.

The investigation is ongoing.

The vehicle is described as;

  • Hyundai Santa Fe
  • Four-door, black

The suspect is described as;

  • Female, white (30 to 35 yrs.)
  • Heavy build
  • Short brown hair worn in a ponytail
  • Wearing a black tank top, leggings and black shoes
