UPDATE: Two Suspects Wanted After Break and Enter and Theft of Two Vehicles

On Tuesday, June 12th, 2018 Barrie Police Service received a call from Waterloo Regional Police after the 1999 Ford F350 stolen from an address on Garabaldi Drive, in the City of Barrie, on Monday, June 4th, 2018 had been located. The vehicle was found abandoned in the City of Cambridge shortly after 7:40 am.  

The identify of the suspects involved in this incident, the break and enter into Power Up Gaming and the stolen van abandoned on Garabaldi Drive is still unknown. Barrie Police Service is looking to identify two suspects after a break and enter in to a local retro gaming shop that appears to be linked to two (2) stolen vehicles.

On Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 just after 11:00 pm police were called to Power Up Gaming located at 490 Mapleview Drive West, in the City of Barrie after an alarm call. Once on scene it was determined two suspects entered the business and in a quick and calculated theft, gathered over $10 000.00 of merchandise.  Video surveillance showed the suspects loaded the stolen goods into a white cargo van. 

On Monday, June 4th, 2018 a similar white van was found with the ignition damaged on Garabaldi Drive, in the City of Barrie, less than 500m from the gaming store.  The vehicle belonged to Kia located at 52 King Street, in the City of Barrie, and had been stolen the previous night.  Video surveillance showed the same two suspects captured in the break and enter from Power Up Gaming removing the vehicle from the rear parking lot of the dealership at 6:20 pm on Sunday.

Further police investigation lead to a second stolen vehicle from Garabaldi Drive believed to be stolen from the driveway of a residence the same night as the break and enter.  The 1999 Ford F350 Dually, white in colour, with personalized licence plate 99V10 is still considered to be outstanding.  At this time police believe the three (3) incidents to be connected.

  • 5'8"
  • 25 to 30-years-old
  • Short dark hair
  • Wearing a dark camoflauge hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black running shoes

Description Suspect #2:

  • Male, white
  • 6'
  • Dark complexion
  • Wearing black flat brimmed hat, blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black running shoes
