One Man Arrested Following Shooting in Barrie

On Sunday, June 3, 2018, just after 4:00 p.m., Barrie Police responded to reports of a shooting outside an apartment complex, located at 90 Edgehill Drive, in the City of Barrie. Prior to officers arriving all involved persons fled the area in a motor vehicle. 

The male who arrived at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound has been arrested. The 42-year-old Aurora man has been charged with; Weapons Dangerous, Assault with a Weapon and Point a Firearm. He has been remanded into custody, and his involvement in the incident is under investigation. 

Investigators believe this incident to be targeted and are seeking the identity of three suspects.
