Barrie Police Service is looking to identify a male and female who thought it was acceptable to fill at shopping cart to the brim and walk out of the store without stopping to pay.

On Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 at 1:55 pm a male and female attended Loblaws located at 472 Bayfield Street, in the City of Barrie. They proceeded around the store filling up a grocery cart to almost overflowing capacity with various items including two (2) cases of beer and miscellaneous items from the Health & Beauty section.  The female exited the door first and waited outside for the male who pushed the cart full of items out of the store to meet the female in the parking lot.  The Loss Prevention Officer (LPO) working ran after the pair catching up to them south of the store.  The male attempted to present a receipt but once he realized the LPO was not convinced, the two fled leaving the cart of stolen goods behind.  The cart full is estimated to contain $950.00 worth in stolen items.
