Barrie Police Service made an arrest after a dispute over Facebook comments lead to one female threatening a second.

On Tuesday, March 6th, 2018 at 11:00 am the accused attended the apartment complex of the victim on Essa Road, in the City of Barrie.  She did not enter the complex, however she stood outside screaming threats and banging on the window of the victims unit.  Two other residents of the complex exited to tell the female to leave the premise or the police would be called.  The female continued to utter threats towards the victim inside.

Police were called and upon arrival within minutes, the accused had left the scene.  She was contacted by police and advised of her pending charges. The 21-year-old Barrie female turned herself in at the Barrie Police Service and was charged with Uttering Threats.
