Vehicle Fire Deemed Suspicious

The Barrie Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance following a suspicious vehicle fire on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

Just before 7:00 p.m. police responded to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Canadian Red Cross, located at 75 Cedar Point Drive, in the City of Barrie. One vehicle had been incinerated as a result of the fire, and a secondary vehicle was located with a broken driver’s side window. It is believed the windows of both vehicles had been damaged prior to the fire.  

The investigation is ongoing.
