IDENTIFIED: Two Suspects in Theft of $2500 Autel Maxisys Pro Vehicle Scanner

Barrie Police Service received multiple tips almost immediately after distributing the surveillance photographs and the two suspects have been identified. The investigation is currently ongoing and charges are pending on the two male suspects. 


On Friday, November 24th,  2017 at 9:25am two males entered the Pro-Tech Tire & Auto located at 570 Yonge Street, in the City of Barrie, requesting to charge their e-bike.  One male entered into the shop area, past the cash and into a back room. He selected a Autel Maxisys Pro vehicle scanner and charging cord before leaving through the side door of the shop.

Suspect #1:

  • Male, white
  • Thin build
  • Wearing a blue coat, blue pants and pink shoes

Suspect #2:

  • Male, white
  • Wearing a black coat, blue jeans and a camouflage pattered hat
