Woman Sought for Possession of Stolen Debit Card

The Barrie Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a female who is believed to be in possession of a stolen debit card.

The victim noted his debit card had been missing and that several suspicious transactions had taken place early Thursday morning on October 19, 2017. He immediately contacted his financial institution and police. A further investigation found that the suspect had utilized the victims debit card with a local taxi company, Petro Canada and the Beer Store, both located on Yonge Street, in the City of Barrie. 

Video surveillance captured the suspect utilizing the victims debit card at the Beer Store Thursday morning just before 12:00 p.m.

The investigation is ongoing

The suspect is described as;

  • Female, white (35 - 40 yrs.)
  • Medium build, 5’2”
  • Wearing a black hat, white jacket, black pants, boots and carrying in a black backpack.
