Stolen Property Recovered and Investigators Looking for Rightful Owners

The Barrie Police Service Street Crime Unit have completed a lengthy investigation dating back to July 2017 where suspicious U-Haul vehicles were connected to property offences.

On Wednesday, November 1st, 2017 a female suspect was arrested in the area of Pickett Crescent while operating a rented U-Haul van containing various items determined to be stolen property.  The recovered items are being held at the Barrie Police Property Unit as investigators determine the rightful owners.  

The 32-year-old Barrie female has been charged with multiple property related and driving related offences as well a breach of recognizance.
