Police Looking to ID Male for Theft of Seafood, Deli, Dairy and Candy

Barrie Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in connection to a theft of various frivolous food items from a southwest end grocery store. 

On Friday, November 3rd, 2017 at 4:15pm the male suspect entered the Zehrs located at 11 Bryne Drive, in the City of Barrie, heading directly to the seafood section of the store.  The male collected various items before heading towards the other side of the store selecting items in the deli, dairy and various confectionary items.  He exited the store making no attempt to pay for the item and when confronted by Loss Prevention in the parking lot, the male fled on foot towards Essa Road.

Description:

  • Male, white
  • 6 feet tall, heavy build 
  • Short brown hair
  • Wearing black sweater with distinct markings on it, red Adidas pants, black socks and black sandals
