Grab and Dash Theft of Wireless Beats Headphones

Barrie Police Service is looking to identify two suspects after a quick grab and dash theft occurred in a south end retail store.

On Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 at 12:15pm two males parked their black Mazda Tribute in the fire route directly outside Best Buy located at 80 Concert Way, in the City of Barrie.  The driver of the vehicle entered the store as the passenger moved seats to become the driver.  Once inside, the first suspect proceeded to the audio section and selected two boxes of Beats wireless headphones valued at $399 each.  He walked to the front of the store then began running through the exit as the auditory alarm sounded to alert staff of the theft.  The male jumped into the passenger of the awaiting vehicle which sped away before security could catch up. 

Suspect #1:

  • Male, white
  • Early 20's
  • 5'10", medium build 
  • Full black beard
  • Wearing a backwards black baseball cap, a dark sweater and dark jeans

Suspect #2:

  • Male, white 
  • 20's 
  • 6', larger build
  • Short hair
  • Wearing red pants, dark sweater and brown boots
