Police Seeking Two Suspects Following Theft

The Barrie Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a male and female following a theft that took place on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Plato’s Closet, located at 21 Commerce Park Drive, in the City of Barrie.

Video surveillance captured two suspects removing price tags and security sensors off various pieces of clothing and concealing them into a bag. The suspects were confronted by an employee, which prompted the pair to turn over the clothing. Although, upon leaving the store, the male was observed to be wearing a black “Adidas” and “Bench” jacket, both of which had been stolen.    

The suspects are described as;

Suspect #1

  • Female, white (25 yrs.)
  • Medium build, 130lbs., 5’4
  • Short dark hair
  • Multiple tattoos – Chest, left forearm, right upper arm and left leg and foot.
  • Wearing a brown leather jacket, black tank top, and black skirt with white print and carrying a pink “Guess” purse.

Suspect #2

  • Male, white (25 yrs.)
  • Medium build, 180 lbs., 5’8
  • Short brown hair
  • Wearing a black “Blue Jays” hat, black “Adidas” and “bench” jacket, and white T-shirt and cameo shorts.
