Barrie Police Service received numerous tips in regards to the identification of a female responsible for the theft of cell phone from Mac's Convenience Monday.  At this time a warrant for arrest has been issued for 34-year-old Regina LaMay for the charges of Theft Under $5000 and Possession of Stolen Property.

The Barrie Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a female following a theft that took place on Monday, July 24, 2017, at 10:19 a.m., at Mac’s Convenience, located at 221 Ferndale Drive, South, in the City of Barrie.

An employee of Mac’s had inadvertently left his cell phone inside the restroom, and when he returned it was gone. Video surveillance captured the female suspect entering the restroom immediately after the employee exited. The female was seen leaving the area in a white VW Jetta with a large sticker on the back windshield reading, “RIDE or DIE”

The suspect is described as;

  • Female, white (25-35 yrs.)
  • Dark hair pulled back into a ponytail
  • Multiple tattoos
  • Wearing a pink bandana for a top and jeans.
