Suspect Sought Following Theft at Loblaws

Barrie Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man following a theft from Loblaws, located at 472 Bayfield Street, in the City of Barrie.

On Sunday, July 23, 2017, just before 6:00 p.m. a man was captured on video surveillance selecting multiple packages of meat and placing them into a reusable bag. He fled the store without making any attempt to pay for the items, and was last seen on foot walking south bound through the parking lot.

The investigation is ongoing .

The suspect is described as;

  • Male, white (55-60 yrs.)
  • Heavy build, 5"8'
  • Bald
  • Wearing a black t-shirt and jeans and was carrying reusable grocery bag.
